Journey In Order really did a fantastic job! They provided the care and attention needed and a personal touch that transitioned my mom to her new living facility. They hosted an estate sale that cleared everything out of our house three weeks prior to agreed upon date. I couldn't be more pleased with the level of serv ice provided. Journey in Order was a fabulous experience start to finish! They were professional, organized, timely, extremely cost-efficient, and communicative. I came to Christie‘s organization because we needed to move my aunt out of her house quickly and get it sold in as timely fashion as possible to pay for her assisted-living arrangements. We interviewed a number of organizations but journey in order hit the best marks on all levels. They gave us several options as far as how to lay out the project, and the experience followed, exactly as was agreed to ahead of time. The items that could be sold, or donated were, in a very timely manner and we even came in a little bit ahead of schedule. I can’t say enough good things about working with the team. We got daily updates on how the project was progressing and solutions to problems that came up that were unforeseen. I am truly delighted with the work they did. Working with Christie on my basement was an absolutely transformative experience. She is a magician. I went from depressed, overwhelmed, stressed, and stuck to energized and excited about what my basement space will look like when I’m done. Christie is the perfect combination of compassion, encouragement, skill, knowledge, and muscle. Her accepting and non-judgmental vibe (letting someone see your mess is *hard*!) helped me trust her immediately. She has an uncanny ability to know when to step up, be direct, and take the lead -- and when to step back and let me do things a certain way. I got on my own nerves, but I never seemed to get on hers! How?!?! I dreaded going through everything that was down there. Having a professional help me was exactly what I needed. Honestly, I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t benefit from some time with her. We spent about 10 focused hours together dealing with the nightmare that was my basement over the course of months, but I would not hesitate to have her help me reimagine spaces and help me get unstuck in other areas of my house – big or small. She worked literal magic with me. I now love going down into my basement to work on the zones we set up or to get on my treadmill and enjoy myself instead of feeling terrible about the overwhelming mess down there. I was at the end of my rope and pushed through my shame and fears and called her and will be forever grateful for the transformation she helped me create. Thank you, Christie!
